THE LAW LIBRARY

The Law Library: Weird Laws, Checked Against the Books

Every entry in this library is an original Bureau investigation: the famous claim, the paper trail (or the lack of one), and an honest stamp. Most "dumb law" lists copy each other forever; the Bureau reads statutes. Where a law is real, we cite it. Where it is folklore, we say so — and explain how the story got its badge. New files are added as the clerks verify them.
